2. Seduced By the Kisses of Rope: Building Intimacy and Connection with Rope
An introduction to Kanso’s Kiss of Rope technique, a simple and intimate form of Japanese Rope Bondage that involves using a single rope to caress, capture and seduce your partner.
I share techniques on how to create mental and emotional spacefor deeper connection with your partner through the Japaneseconcept of Kokoro, which translates as "letting the rope flowthrough heart, mind, and spirit".
3. Ties That Bind: Taking Your Rope to
the Next Level
Ready to take your rope journey to the next level? Got your foundational ties down and ready for some new sexy and aesthetic ties?
This class is aimed at students who want to further explore a set of sexy of Shibari ties. We will introduce participants to binding for the arms and legs that are both sensual and functional. We show you several creative ways to play with symmetrical bondage.
4. The Erotic Restraints: More Sexy Bondagefor the Bedroom
Join us for an evening of fun as we learn how to restrain and capture our partner with rope using a new set of ties that will help advance your sexy time in the bedroom.
Ties will be first be demonstrated and then taught thoroughly in a hands-on, step-by-step manner. As always, I will be going around and giving plenty of one on one feedback and attention.

This hands-on workshop focuses on developing the skill to free flow with rope. You will learn to exercise proper technique and tension in your tying as you practice a way of locking the rope into an aesthetic pattern while creating a sensual journey shared by you and your partner.
1. Stepping Into the Box Tie: The Iconic
Chest Harness of Japanese Rope Bondage.
The box tie (Gote shibari) is one of the most frequentlyused ties in the art of Japanese Rope Bondage. This is a hands-on workshop on how to properly construct a 2-rope box tie/chest harness, focusing on both the pattern and proper tension. We cover the safety factors to take into consideration and demonstrate modifications to help reduce the risk of nerve injury and increase comfort while in this tie.
2. Stepping Out of the Box Tie: Third Rope& Finishing Techniques for the Chest Harness.(Part 2)
In this follow-up workshop we continue to explore the iconic box tie. We add a third rope to demonstrate decorative variations that create a solid foundation for more intricate floor ties, and finishing techniques that assure your box tie can serve as an integral tie in rope suspension work.
3. Rope Flow: Mastering Speed, Tension,and Movement While Handling Rope
This workshop focuses on developing the skills necessary for better rope management, dexterity and flow. We exercise body memory in order to achieve better results in the quality, speed and passion of your ties. A box tie/chest harness is utilized as the practice tie in this class.
4. Bound to the Core: Exploring the HipHarness for Suspension
In this class we focus on learning a versatile hip harness for usein Japanese rope suspension. We will address the functionalityof a hip harness, how to achieve proper tension and differentways of attaching support lines for a safe and comfortablesuspension.
A series of classes developed to help both intermediate and advanced students who want to learn new ties not coveredin the main KOR curriculum. We also review specific tieslearned in the early stage of students training and furtheradvanced variations.
1. Intro to Japanese Rope Suspension: Proper Suspension Line Management
In this two and half hour class we will explore the tools and skills need to learn how to spend suspend out partner safely. We will examine several ways of tie off our main support line to the chest and waist harness and how to secure it safely to our hard point.
2. Partial Suspension 1: Playing In the Space Between Heaven & Earth
Partial Suspension is a tied position in which at least one lineis carrying the load while allowing the person to experience suspension while touching the floor. It is an area in rope play that normally neglected and offer lots of opportunities for fun, but can be tricky at the same time.
3. Partial Suspension 2: Exploring the Space between Heaven & Earth
In this class we will continue to explore and demo various partial suspension positions and paly with more complex transition and variations while working with dynamic tension.
4. Intro to Japanese Rope Suspension: Side-Suspension
This series of classes has been develop to teach students theart of contemporary rope suspension technique in a safe andthorough manner.
In this two and half hour class we will explore how to properlytie and build the framework for the Side-Suspension form followed by a few variations.
5. Intro to Japanese Rope Suspension: Face Down Position
This series of classes has been develop to teach students theart of contemporary rope suspension technique in a safe andthorough manner. In this two and half hour class we will explore how to properly tie and build the framework for the Face-Down position followed by a few variations.
6. Intro to Japanese Rope Suspension: Face-Up Position

7. Intro to Japanese Rope Suspension: Futomomo (bent-leg) Position
This series of classes has been develop to teach students theart of contemporary rope suspension technique in a safe andthorough manner. In this two and half hour class we will explore how to properly tie and build the framework for the Futomomo (bent-leg) positionfollowed by a few variations.
8. Kinbaku Captured: Introductionto Japanese Aesthetics in Shibari
In this class we will introduce Japanese aesthetic conceptsand views and how they are applied to Kinbaku: The art of beautiful suffering. Part of the teaching will include photo slide show presentation and a live rope demo that will help us understand better how to apply theses concept to our own personal rope style.
9. Pick Up Sticks - Using Bamboo with in Shibari Floor Tie and Suspenesion
In this class we will explore creative and safe ways to tie with and include pieces of bamboo in both floor ties, partial & full suspension. This class is geared towards intermediate students with proficient rope handling skills and proper knowledge a traditional Gote (Chest Harness).
Semenawa: Classical Shibari and the Art of Psychological Rope Play
In this series of classes I will be teaching “Old School Style” Shibari ties, forms and suspension technique for tying on a horizontal bamboo as a hard point.
This style of tying allows us to explore the physical and psychological aspects of a rope session based on the classical Japanese concept of Semenawa (contemplative/ psychological rope play). This concept goes beyond the idea of embracing or restraining your partner with rope.
The Advanced Suspension Study Group
The Advanced Suspension Study Group is intended for students who already have experience in suspension; those that fall in the intermediate suspension level and want to refine their skills and deepen there understand of more complex dynamic suspensions and transitions.
